Viability of Morisca Powder Tailings for Ceramic Applications

In Juazeiro de Piauí and Castelo do Piauí, two cities in northeast Brazil, mined morisca rock is widely used civil construction for external coating applications. Aiming at a sustainable practice its extraction, which includes the economical use of tailings from mining, this work presents solution discarded materials processing Piauí. context, an analysis results using as substitute clay applications red ceramics are presented.
